The Story:
Fundraising to buy solar generators for Hurricane Maria victims in Puerto Rico. Diesel and gas will be limited and we need to buy alternative energy equipment. Power is expected to be restored in 4 months or more. The idea is to start with 50 and then see how many we can get based on the donations. They cost around $3,000 each (including shipping the generator and solar kit) enough to power a microwave, lights, and a fridge. We are also working on the logistics to get the generators to Puerto Rico. Plus we are already in contact with friends and vendors in the solar energy industry to be sure we get the right generators at the best price with discounts. One example of these generators and solar kits can be found here:

We are also looking at other alternative products such as light bulbs, stoves, water containers, and batteries.
